Aromatherapy

Essential oils extracted from vegetation that are usually applied to the face, body wraps, and bathwater to enhance moods and emotions.

Chamomile

A plant belonging to the daisy family that has a soothing effect on the skin and lightens hair.

Conditioner

A coating product applied to the hair, usually after shampooing, that creates shine, body, and sleekness.

The scaly, outermost layer of hair. When it’s healthy, the cuticle is normally curved down and shines in the light.

Glossing

Also called chunking, a trendy, yet artificial type of highlighting that involves lightening large chunks of hair.
